So, a little about myself:
I am an ordinary guy in my 30ies and I live a pretty ordinary life… with the exception of my financial wealth. So how did I build my financial wealth? Well, let me start from the beginning. I grew up in a household of a hard-working middle-class family. My parents worked very hard, in fact. Thanks to their example, I have spent a lot of my life working very hard. However, hard work will only get you so far. You need to also work smart. The hard work will generate income, but then you need to manage that income correctly if you plan on reaching your financial goals. Money management, however, was not a natural skill set that I possessed. It took me many years of making poor financial decisions and living paycheck to paycheck before I was finally able to break the cycle. At one point, I was even living in a car. A hatchback to be exact. It was horrible. Thankfully, my family and friends helped me get through a lot of hard times. The shame and embarrassment of being broke really did a number on me, which led me to take a hard look at what I was doing with my life from a financial side of things. So, I devised a long-term strategy to reach my financial goals. They were quite simple actually:
- Live beneath my means
- Develop a skill
- Work hard to make $$$
- Put as much money into something that would make me more money for less effort
- Repeat this process until I reach my goals
After implementing my strategy, my life changed drastically. Today I own a couple houses, I buy a new car every year or two, and take my family and friends on vacations multiple times a year to places like Disney, Hawaii, and various international destinations. And I can do this without having to worry about how I’m going to afford it.
Let me go ahead and squash the “get rich quick” questions or concerns you may have. I’m not a billionaire. I’m not even a deca-millionaire. However, I have been able to grow my wealth to over a million dollars. How? Well, that is what I am going to be sharing with you through this site and through emails that will provide tips, tricks, and newly discovered resources that you can leverage (so if you haven’t signed up for our newsletter, you may want to do that).
